The Richat structure is pretty. Word of warning, that image is exaggerated vertically (10x maybe? Ah, 6x.) and false colored. So beautifully symmetrical for an uplifted dome though.

Neat stuff.

I went home for lunch today and watched a show that talked a little about the "Eye of the Sahara" AKA the Richat Structure.

So I had to do a little reading about it. Seems to be formed by wind. The show I watched on the Science Channel made it seem that water was the most likely cause.
