Is anybody interested in urban exploration? Have you ever explored an abandoned building? If not, would you do so?
Why do you like abandoned places, what are the feelings they give to you?

I do have a spot for it, like wandering round and seeing how things were.
I like looking at the old asylums and nut houses online, some are just epic.

Anyway, like to see what others say.

Yeah I love watching those shows online, my favorite locations are the Waverly Hills Sanatorium and Danvers State Hospital which was demolished unfortunately, but they kept the facade and turned it into an apartment building.....what a pity!

I have for years, though not as much lately. Old asylums and abandoned houses are my favorite. Unfortunately a lot of our asylums have been torn down or converted into condos. Like Danvers for example. I like them for various reasons, its kind of like stepping into a place where time is stopped for me. I also like a lot of the old architecture, especially for the Kirkbride buildings.

I used to do a fair bit of Urbex until an accident put a stop to it.

Its so peaceful(usually), lots of things have just been left as they are for years, never disturbed, just gathering dust.
Its a shame that so many places that have the purpose of activity are just empty.
