et's daddy Posted February 23, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2005 could this quake in Iran be the result of a weapon from another (possibly the US) government ? http://my.freeze.com/APDigital/XML/1107_AP...10578194a.shtml

Elfstone810 Posted February 23, 2005 #3 Share Posted February 23, 2005 Call me crazy, but I think it's probably the result of a shift along a fault where two tectonic plates meet or something of that sort. Terribly sad, anyway. There seem to be so many tragedies in the world in the last couple of months. The tsunamis, mudslides, avalanches, quakes, not to mention all the man-made horrors. Hotoke Posted February 24, 2005 #11 Share Posted February 24, 2005 if they had an earthquake weapon i dont think they would use it on a city but on military targets
twinstead Posted February 24, 2005 #12 Share Posted February 24, 2005 (edited) Even on the unimaginably remote chance that such an advanced (probably reverse engineered alien technology) earthquake weapon exists, how stupid would it be to set it off in a nation that the UN says is the most earthquake prone on Earth, and on civilian targets? What kind of point would that make? They have serious earthquakes there often and at least one minor EQ there EVERY DAY. Can't scare anybody (except some crazies) with our death ray if nobody suspects anything. Does anybody seriously entertain the notion that such a weapon exists? I wonder just how much of it is 'blame American for everything bad in the world' and how much is true scientific questioning. Gabriel Posted February 24, 2005 #13 Share Posted February 24, 2005 "Iran is located on seismic fault lines and is prone to earthquakes. It experiences at least one slight earthquake every day on average." doesnt sound like a wepone to me , sounds like they were due for a big one.
