Expedition 35 Crew Heads Home

Expedition 35 Commander Kevin Chris Hadfield and Flight Engineers Tom Marshburn and Roman Romanenko undocked from the International Space Station in the Soyuz TMA-07M spacecraft at 7:08 p.m. EDT Monday, wrapping up 144 days aboard the orbiting outpost.

After performing a deorbit burn, the Soyuz will be on track for a scheduled 10:30 p.m. landing in southern Kazakhstan, wrapping up 146 days in space for the three. The crew members bid farewell to one another and closed the hatches between the two spacecraft at 3:50 p.m.

Expedition 35 Crew Lands Safely in Kazakhstan

Expedition 35 Commander Kevin Chris Hadfield and Flight Engineers Tom Marshburn and Roman Romanenko landed their Soyuz TMA-07M spacecraft in southern Kazakhstan at 10:31 p.m. EDT Monday. Russian recovery teams were on hand to help the crew exit the Soyuz vehicle and adjust to gravity after 146 days in space.

The trio launched aboard the Soyuz TMA-07M spacecraft from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan in December and spent 144 days living and working aboard the International Space Station.

I hope that NASA lets more like Commander Chris Haddfield bring a more contemporary style to our ISS program ,Its good to be in touch with the world,And let these brave men & women freedoms to express themselfs. Part of the Human condition ! :tu:
