Daily Mirror reports that TVs are now permanently showing BBC1 instead

arguing between guests on the show which was upsetting people, some of

whom were ill and did not appreciate the bickering.”

The Jeremy

The Jeremy Kyle Show has been banned from hospital TV screens amid concerns its violent and shocking scenes were upsetting patients.

Bosses at Fazakerley Hospital, Liverpool, have ordered all waiting room sets be tuned to the BBC after complaints about the programme's inappropriate content.

They said the ITV1 show - previously branded a 'human form of bear baiting' - was not conducive to providing a 'calm atmosphere'.

The chatshow has gained notoriety in recent times for its risque topics, unpredictable guests and violent outbursts on set.

But, it seems, debates such as 'My husband slept with my daughter' and 'A one night stand on CCTV' were too much for patients recuperating from illness or waiting for loved ones at the Merseyside NHS trust.

'Some patients were getting quite upset by shows like Jeremy Kyle and they mentioned it to the managers,' a hospital source said.

this hospital is my local, banning Jeremy kyle? the hospital has a cheek they charge you for watching the TV, in the hospital. you have to buy this card thingy that costs an absolute fortune, about £5 for 48 hour viewing, and i wouldn't mind the TV screen is only six to eight inches.
