Karlis Posted December 8, 2011 #1 Share Posted December 8, 2011 Man-made global warming: Why many of us are skeptical [Part 1] By Dennis Prage I addressed the issue with a seriousness and respect that Joey Green does not exhibit in his response. He apparently felt that sarcasm and put-downs comprise an adequate response. They don't. Nevertheless, the issue is too important not to respond. So here are responses to selected statements by Green: Source
Little Fish Posted December 8, 2011 #2 Share Posted December 8, 2011 Richard Lindzen said something like (quoted imperfectly) "I am NOT a skeptic of man made global warming, to be a skeptic would give validity to the notion of man made global warming, no I'm not a skeptic, I'm a denier"
Guest Posted December 8, 2011 #3 Share Posted December 8, 2011 (edited) I have to say "Why should I care what Dennis Prage says ?" He is simply repeating all the things that right wing political commentators have been saying for the last decade. How has he progressed the argument one millimeter ? You constantly express the notion that we should accept that the opinions of a political commentator should trump the scientific data Lindzen has stopped publishing scientific papers and dedicated himself to been a political commentator on climate related issues. So again, "Why should I care what Lindzen says ?" Br Cornelius Edited December 8, 2011 by Guest
