UFO outside Atlanta last year

I was discussing the Nova Scotia thread with a friend yesterday and she proceeded to tell me the following story:

In early November of last year, she and her boyfriend were visiting her family outside of Atlanta. Her family has a large piece of rural property with two cabins at opposite ends of the property.

Around 3/3:30 am she and her boyfriend were awakened by their golden retriever that was ferociously barking at something. Her sister's cats were meowing and they could hear wolves/coyotes in the nearby woods howling. All of the farmyard animals were making a lot of noise too. They were a little scared but after checking around, didn't see any reason for why the animals were all disturbed.

The next morning, she was telling her brother what happened as he had been staying at the other cabin with their mom at the other side of the property. He said that he had been awakened at around the same time by all the animals on their side going crazy too, but there had been an intense white light shining down from above the house. He was terrified, but couldn't move. Finally, the light went away and after he calmed down, he was able to go back to sleep.

My friend said that their property is near some type of federal installation that is very secret (big security fences, cameras, etc.).

Did anyone else see or know anything about this?

Edited to add: I was going to send this to Pax as a PM since he is so bored, but thought perhaps someone else might know something about this.

Thanks Mulder, I will alert my friend and her brother. Her brother, especially, is a bit obsessed now.
