thatdarnkat Posted November 11, 2005 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2005 I took these three pix over Keyport Bay in NJ after doing a photo shoot for a client of mine. My cam was set to low res but the pix are still OK. I just regret only taking 3 shots but I was tired. Anyway, they were taken after Sept 11th so there was still a no-fly zone around the whole city of NY (in the background) so there were no air shows or anything like that going on. My step-father used to work at NASA as a mathematician and has aeronautic experience and couldnt really figure it out either. Also, If you go into Photoshop or whatever and you alter the colors in the picture, you'll see that the color at the bottom of the smoke trail is MUCH brighter. Your eye cant really see differences in white colors but if you mess with it, I think you can see it. The technicals, if your interested. It was taken with a Minolta Dimage 5i with no external lenses or filters (I had taken them all apart after the shoot and had to pull the cam out again to take these). They were taken out of a giant glass window above a doctors office over Keyport Bay towards the Verrazano Bridge. The trade towers were far off to the right out of the picture. They were taken somewhere before 12/17/2003 (the Modified Date of the image in my directory). ALSO, notice the black dot moving from the right side of the pic to the left? Finally, I cant post the full size pix because of the forum size restriction but if you want, I guess just post your email or something and i'll send them to you. I can probably put them on my web site too if your interested. Anyone have any ideas? I'm not a alien conspiracy guy and really dont think it was anything like that but it was definatly unidentified and nothing was ever in the papers about it. I'm guessing just a military jet but we never saw them out this far and it seems too aerobatic (and downward) for that. isis-999 Posted November 11, 2005 #3 Share Posted November 11, 2005 It does look like either a cloud or the smoke left by a fighter plane?.. But i hate to say for sure sense i really don't know either... It does look kinda weird though....
snuffypuffer Posted November 11, 2005 #4 Share Posted November 11, 2005 The black cloud guy seems to be following the path of the bright object. I don't know quite what it could be, though.

Mind_Freak Posted November 11, 2005 #9 Share Posted November 11, 2005 (edited) It looks to me that the UFO is flying out of that cloud thing. The cloud in question, actually looks like a vortex... Possibly how the ufos could come from another place... (i don't necessarily believe what i just said, but that is what it looks like to me) Anyone else see how it could be a vortex? whatever the UFO is, it is a light UFO, which makes sense to me, seeing how we would need to travel at the speed of light to get to any solar system other than our own... Solofront Posted November 12, 2005 #14 Share Posted November 12, 2005 (edited) Looks to me like a meteor that entered and is now leaving the earths atmosphere. Also, I can tell you are from the southwest buddy, from the sunset, clouds, and the brush. I have seen meteors that have came in and left the atmosphere many times. Once back in 1998 or so, my family, relatives, and I were having a barbeque/pool party at night, during the middle of a game of marco-polo we saw a huge meteor, mabye it was the size of a small car, like a beettle or gulf. Anyways, you could litteraly see and HEAR chunks of the meteor break away as it disenegrated. It all happened so fast. It was tottaly cool though. Right before it vaporized itself, we heard a large crackle sound, kind of like thunder, kind of like the tungkaska incident, which I think was a cover-up, lol, just kidding.. I recon there are still fragments of this meteorite in the desert somewhere. I never did find any good size junks though, although I did find tiny granule-sized bits and peices of sulfuric/iron while hiking a couple years after that episode though, like I said before, it totattly rocked. I could not see what you were showing us, so I inhanced one of your pics and discovered it appears as a "Meteor" possibly burning-up in in the atmosphere. Otherwise a trip to travel to see if any remnants had survived and made it too Earth then with some mathematically compass readings you may find something or not? Essan Posted November 12, 2005 #20 Share Posted November 12, 2005 The apparently twisted shape of what most assume to be a contrail produced by the bright object may simply look that way due to upper air movement - don't automatically assume it was made by an object performing acrobatics. Beyond that though, I can't help.
