I am a democrat ... hard core, yet for the past two years I have had a great awakening. I seldom watch Glenn Beck ... only read the hate ... and I do mean hate that he is getting from so many of you.

I watched his program for the first twelve minutes of tonights show and he correlated what Chavez in Venezuala ??? "spelling on that one???" is doing compared to america ... UNDER BUSH AND NOW OBAMA

The correlations made me see what I have thought for the past few months so much clearer. We americans are and I do mean "ARE" under attack, not from the president but from the people who are the ones really in control. If you do not agree with me Tivo his program tonight at 2.am Eastern time and learn a few things. Our government has been hijacked by radicals, marxists, socialists, communists!!!

I am so sick of it all!!! As I have said before I can live off "MY" land and survive .. how about you??? The government has slowly been gaining power and "We the People" have been slowly losing our power. Time for an overhaul of our entire system and an overhaul of "ever single one" of the politicians who are supposed to be working for us!!!

Disagree .. maybe not if you watch. After that disagree?? Then I find you, my fiend as the enemy of my family. Both Republicans and Democrats have the same goal ... taking the power from the people. How dare us to have the power, as Satan demands it.

Come on freaks ... disagree with me. You are either blind by hatred for the other party or completly a moron, blinded to what is going on. The gloves are off!!! My families lives are in jeopardy and I for one am sick and tired of hearing the same ole' thing ... Its the elephants .. its the jackass's. Its both of them!!! BOTH OF THEM!!!!

Ever heard of "The monkey in the middle???" A simple game yet we are the monkey ... the ball is being thrown from left to right, right to left and until we catch that ball we will never have a turn.

Time for the "monkey" to evolve into an "Ape" This way we not only have a greater height advantage, but a longer wingspan to catch this ball which is eluding us.

As far as I'm concern, I agree with you that the government is being hijacked and are working against our best interest, but with regards to Glenn Beck, the man in my opinion is no more than a Shock Jock.

I am a very compasionate person ... I can take care of myself and my family from simple seeds and know how. Yet I have many friends around this nation ... around this globe who could not survive a "GLOBAL DEPRESSION!!!"

Maybe I am too sensitive to the needs of others, yet this is the way God made me. I care so much for people. It is time for the people though to care for themselves. As a teacher I have found it illogical the way we have been educating our children for quite awhile now. Standardized teaching only instructs the ones who will go on to college.

Example ... I have had to in the past due to "KERA" the Kentucky Educational Reform Act, teach Autistic, the retarded and brain damaged students such things as chemistry and Algebra. Makes me sick to even mention it!!! These "MY!!!" students need to learn how to cook without burning the house down, yet the illogical have power over common sense!!!

Time for us with common sense to destroy those in control who are illogical.

Not quite sure how your "Beck just ate our Pu tang" thread title fits in, but whatever.

I've seen some Beck, and I have to come down on the side of the people who think it's only a matter of time before we see him wandering the streets in a diaper, screaming at manholes, but I don't deny he's made some good observations here and there, that sometimes none of the media or political groups make, some are even pretty damning.

But then you have the other 99% of his opinion, his alarmist fear-mongering, survivalist, end-of-the-world fatalism, waiting for the inevitable Apocalypse, secret camps where American citizens are put after the government listens in to their private conversations via transmitters that agents of the shadow government, disguised as dentists, have implanted in their teeth, Obama is somehow a combination of Marxist, Communist, Socialist, Fascist and a large number of other "-ists", and is apparently the cause of all the US' ills and knowing Beck's skewed reality, is also the herald of Satan himself, maybe the Anti-Christ.

But as I said, I don't think he's totally without redeeming qualities and actual accurate or even useful ideas and observations on some things, and most very definitely presents an "alternate" view on what is going on in the world and the US, which is never a bad thing for people to know or be able to consider for themselves and judge what they feel is his accuracy. I do like him better than I ever did Rush. Maybe it's because he was a rodeo clown and stand up comedian before becoming a secular "Rapturist".
