So he's saying that if a world government forms it should be moral and respect all people. And that's evil...how? Not like the Vatican has much power these days. Their influence has been in a steady decline.

Of course looking at the other articles on the site it looks they lean heavy towards the paranoid.

Not really a surprising idea. What is Catholicism but religious government? Heck, they have their own country.

Sure, the Pope doesn't have much power, but the Pope, the Queen, all other royalty/high ranking figures who don't really have any power are actually some of the most influential people behind the scenes (in a bad way of course). The royalty of Europe has been attending Bilderberg for decades, these figureheads (the Pope included) do so much more behind the scenes, they are some of the core, founding members of the NWO & the Illuminati...

Where did he say "if a world government forms"? No he called for a world government to be formed. Big difference. No Im not saying he has the power to do such a thing. But his endorcement certainly doesnt hurt the globalists plans.

Revelation 17:12-13 seems to suggest that many kings will gove up their power.  So, if you're an eschatologist, the pope's proposal isn't too far-fetched.

It takes a group of nations to believe in a common cause in order to withdraw sovereignty.

Absolutely correct!

The UK, USA, Germany, Spain, Italy, France etc were all created from independent Sovereign States, with each Independent state relinquishing Sovereignty to form greater nations with considerably increased local and International Leverage.

Just normal in the scheme of things.

The Pope is looking much further ahead, but his belief in a World overseer of Moral Governance just will not work - I am sure he is envisioning a Roman Catholic governance, and quite honestly with the RC stance on Paedophilia and abuse it just "aint goin to happen".
