I am reading a book called From the Ashes of Angels by Andrew Collins and it is fascinating! Inside the book is a description and picture of what the watchers/grigori would have looked like if they came down to earth in human form. Yhey were pale skinned with white curly hair and golden eyes. They were also very tall. Now i remember as a young girl i saw a book a friend had that showed beautiful pale people with white hair. It was called the Dreamthief's Daughter by Michael Moorcock. The cover art by Robert Gould is beautiful and now that i think about it, the two people on the cover of that book remind me soooo much of the grigori! the fallen watchers who came to earth long ago to influence our ancestors. Does anyone else agree?   the picture i attached is by Robert Gould i found on his website. take a look!

i guess you would have to read the book to understand... or maybe just read the account of how noah looked when he was born

I read/saw The Lord of the Rings, elves kinda look like that. Does that count? That's fantasy as well.

nono just that picture, because there were dark haired elves, was noah an albino maybe? i will quote from the book this thing i read that makes me think: "And after some days my son, Methuselah, took a wife for his son Lamech, and she became pregnant by him and bore a son. And his body was white as snow and red as a rose: the hair of his head was as white as wool and his long curly hair beautiful; and as for his eyes, when he opened them the whole house glowed like the sun" (1 collins). that passage is from the book of noah that collins includes in the book to describe how noah strangely had an angelic appearance. the thing is, it is hard to determine where the myth ends and the history begins of noah and the book of enoch because it is possible that some of the jewish history and genesis are influenced by zoroastrianism or manichaeanism because of the capturing of the jews by babylonians

I've read most of Moorcocks books. That is a picture of Elric with his sword StormBringer and he is the last of the Melibone race. Basically Moorcocks version of Elves. He was unique among his kind (Other then being the last) because he was an albino.

Personnally I do not believe that the Nephilim were anything other then another human tribe just like the Formorians or the Firbolgs or the Cyclops's or the Norse Jotuns. Myth tends to expand on the nature of the Enemy to make the struggle Epic in victory, or defeat.

Andrew Collins writes a lot of stuff that Many people think has only a passing familiarity with the Truth. He is a member of these Forums in I remember right.

hmm interesting viewpoint you have DieChecker! i guess we will never know if the nephilim are real or not, but the idea of them is beautiful to me, and i  personally think some albinos are beautiful.

Well they were angelic, right? Corrupt, and morally bankrupt, but probably very beautiful. They were the offspring of Fallen Angels, not the Good Guys.

Wait, did I miss something? There's actual history of Noah now?

I saw Watchers/demons/other a few times. (Although on each occasion I had several symptoms of Sleep Paralysis and on one occasion was under the influence of lots of Ecstasy) Once creature was huge and orange and had horns and no hair, looked like a typical devil/demon from myth. One creature was light blue and translucent, more of a human size and shaped apparition. Another has been a dark shadow that moved amongst the darkest parts of the loft. Of all of them, the big orange demon was the least scary as I was potentially dying form a drugs over dose at the time and I think it was making sure I lived.... Or I was just hallucinating.

There are lots of places in the Bible that were real and have been found and excavated.  So I'm not sure what kind of point you're trying to make.

As to the OP, there's a reason these books are in the fantasy and fiction sections at Barnes & Noble.
