And from my own perspective, is this was legit, God or whatever you want to call him is simply a prickish *******. We were in the middle of a World War, hundreds of thousands of people had been killed and injured and the all-seeing, all-powerful, merciful God creates a freaking light show?
Really?
How about ginning up a "real" miracle and bringing back all who had been killed and bestowing love in the hearts of all men, thus ending the misery of war for all eternity. You know, especially since we were about to rinse and repeat a little more than 20 years later - which God would have known, right?
