Anomalocaris Posted July 15, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 15, 2015 (edited) “After working on this for about 10 years,” said Zeb Hogan, Ecologist and Photographer from National Geographic, “it turns out that there are about 30 species of freshwater fish that can get over 6 feet long or weigh more than 200 pounds, and they occur in large rivers and lakes all over the world and on every continent except Antarctica. And about 70 percent of them are threatened with extinction.” http://www.wired.com...l-fishes-earth/ Edited July 15, 2015 by Anomalocaris
glorybebe Posted July 15, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 15, 2015 (edited) We in BC are aware of saving the big fish. We have others beside the sturgeon, like Ling Cod. They had to be protected and are not allowed to be kept if caught. Taking it all today means nothing for tomorrow. Do sad others don't realize this, too Edited July 15, 2015 by glorybebe
