Atop A Paper Airplane I would fly into forever with you on the flimsy wings of a paper airplane so slyly painted with a prayer or maybe just a lucky number we would soar uncertainly over barking dogs chained to fences demanding their freedom too and the wind would carry us airily smudged with whispers that we won't really hear as we gaze, ever higher into black skies feathered with cloud, where starlight spells out our names we would try to remember the conspiracy that is a clock how time slips by and how our lives happened before we could embrace or resist or before we would even catch our breath Edited July 25, 2013 by sarah_444 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
