Police investigate UFO's in Breckenridge Colo

Breckenridge Colorado - Breckenridge Police say they are investigating reports of three "shiny" objects in the sky Friday morning.

"NORAD is not tracking any anomalies in that location. We are investigating," said Army Major Beth Smith, NORAD spokesperson. Multiple people have called in to report the objects floating in the sky. The Summit County Sheriff's Office is also investigating.

Saw this on 9news at 10 tonight and figured I'd post it. It's not often such things grace our nightly news, especially NBC's 9news as they are an award winning, no silliness, news channel. As always, I'm already pretty certain on what it is, however I wanted to alert you all and post a non-bias topic to be discussed!

My first observation would be that Matt Renoux is deliberately misleading, when he said that they stayed stationary anmd then zoomed off - he states that as if he bioth saw and recorded it, but if you listen carefully he contradicts himself and the footage shows no such thing. Matt, why not come to the forum and discuss, and also tell us why you think not a single witness is willing to come on camera, including the alleged police?

Colorado, you are being very kind to that news service - they *never* have a slow day, never post silliness, never beat up a story?

FTR, they sure look like a match to weather sonde/balloons to me, but given the very short snippet and crappy resolution they could simply be aircraft on approach coming head on to the observer (and then peeling off to land)... Given they had plenty of time, apparently - don't they have a decent long tele lensed camera they could have loaned to Matt? IF (and that's a big if..) the reports of them staying still and then a flash appears followed by something zooming off, then I'd have to ask if there is a local R/C or rocketry club that is into 'rockoons', or perhaps a university that is launching high altitude sensing rockets, or some other similar balloon-lofted research...

ChrLzs - You know my take on this subject, as well as "ghosts." I just wanted to post an article without instilling my bias and thus hopefully generate discussion from believer's and non based only on the information gleaned from the article.

He sounds to me like he does not know what they were.

He never said little green men.

Something was there, I see nothing by the News that is dramatic, or alienish.

Matt might be a reptilian though.

Either way, those were in the sky, and not identified yet. So, yes, UFO's.
