That's what I thought to after the first trick. Watch the last half it's not the ring, at least not in the end anyway.

His rings are possibly magnetic and he is using fake coins made of metal, for today's currencies are made with non-magnetic metals. However, the glass on that table could also be trick glass. Notice the Magician wiping the glass before he attempts to pass his arm through the glass but covering the secret with the other. The same kind of glass trick scenario was achieved by Criss Angel when he passed his whole body through solid pane of glass. Criss Angel

However, the mystery is over once you know how the trick was done.

Here's a video that reveals how some of those coin tricks are done.

The first trick he did, HAHAHA. Why is he holding the glass like a retard? Only useing the tumb and 2 other fingers? Because he is holding coins behind the last fingers.

I thought the mat was magnetic and he was sticking coins on the underside of the glass. That last one was amazing though. I've seen the big pass thru trick before with a window which usually has a big hole cut in it but this is much harder to do IMO. I imagine it's a combination of things. Close up magic is very difficult to master.

And yes, it's all trickery but still interesting. I read forums where people really believe Cris Angel is doing the stuff he does. That's when you know IQ levels are not at their highest.

Look at 3:02.

He places 3 coins down....wait he places 1 coin and something that looks like 2 coins but is in fact not a coin, its a solid item.

Just after this he produces a coin in his other hand, that was there all along for this trick. The "Bang" on the table makes the fake 3rd coin retract into the 2nd coin.

Have a look.

At 5:23 he slides the worktop (or a portion of it) out of the way. It's so obvious. Look at his arm, sliding it over.

Before this he polishes the surface to make sure no smudges can be seen sliding out of view.

Maybe you are right about everything but you can't deny that the guy is a talented close up magician. Imagine how long it takes to master the skills involved and the hours upon hours of practice. I say more power to him and I applaud his ability.
