KaysonMire Posted September 22, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2015 For those who have local urban legends that you all keep up with, what's the community's responses to them? What do they all think of the said legends? Is there a lot of teasing about them, or are they ever taken seriously? I'm working on a story that goes behind the urban legend, and I'm just looking for what others think behind them
SCE Posted September 22, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 22, 2015 I think it is interesting that isolated communities with seemingly no communication are subject to the same urban legends. I think it would be interesting to find out if there is a correlation with urban legends and the rise of mass media entertainment.
