9 Ways to Wake Up From Sleep Paralysis

Sleep paralysis is the terrifying feeling of being held down after just waking up or going to sleep. You can't move or scream, and sometimes this paralysis is accompanied with the certainty that someone - or something - is in the room.

Quite simply, sleep paralysis is one of the most horrifying experiences in life, because we feel awake but can't believe what is happening to us.

I've found that peeing my jammies wakes me. (best not to copy me though... specially if you sleep with someone)

Some good advice there but he did miss one. Sleep parslysis is associated with REM sleep. ( Rapid Eye Movement. The mechanism that paralyzes us does not affect the control of our eyes. This is why our eyes dart all over the place while dreaming.

Upon sleep parslysis if you close your eyes and roll them up into your head, not only will you thwart andy negative visions but the conscious control will snap you awake
