Agent X Posted July 13, 2009 #1 Share Posted July 13, 2009 Does any of their findings make it into main stream science or media? For example, their film of the giant squid should be news worthy, however, did it make regular news? It just seems to me that some of their findings should make regular mainstream news or media. stealson1 Posted July 13, 2009 #2 Share Posted July 13, 2009 (edited) well to answer your question, i have only heard of one time and that was an original a year or two before they had there own show, the picture was take by an underwater camera-sub and it clearly shows a squid-like creature, but because they did not have laser cameras like they do now. the where unable to officially determine the size. it seems to be very large though, but once again the giant squid as eluded our grasp. for the first day the where all over the new, and the next 3 days they where as well, but for the last 3 days they where eaten alive by skeptics... Videos: http://www.veoh.com/browse/videos/category...60416978gsngMGE http://www.clipser.com/watch_video/1121976 Pics: http://www.tonmo.com/forums/attachment.php...mp;d=1195116309 http://i.ytimg.com/vi/qgRBvoUMwRI/default.jpg As for my opinion on the show if they are looking for hardcore evidence they are doing it wrong, if the animals truthfully do exist, paranormal or not, they all must do one thing and that is crap... if they want hardcore evidence look on the dang ground, there waste must be around somewhere, and the feces of these creatures can tell us much more about them then some 5 sec clip of them in the corner of the screen.... -stealy Edited July 13, 2009 by stealson1
The Big Boss Posted July 13, 2009 #3 Share Posted July 13, 2009 If something was found, you would hear about it in the media long before the episode even hit television. Even with a show as cheesy as monsterquest, it does take time to put these episodes together. As far as your question about media worthy material, no. People have better things to worry about.....like Michael Jackson.

The last time I checked the History Channel is mainstream media.
