Actually, no. When I posted it there was no link, I'd just heard it on the TV over my shoulder and was on my way to bed. I thought it might have been another example of what is happening so regularly these days. Not such a huge leap of logic.

However, in typical Egyptian fashion, the social media were immediately flooded with jokes about the incident & the love-sick hijacker. Below is one in which a pilot says "we will take off now, anyone whose wife is making his life miserable, better disembark now; we don't want trouble"
