His father should be fined if there were any damages.  The behavior against a 5 year old is excessive and counterproductive.  But if the lad decides rock throwing at cars is fun then he's apt to be in for a miserable life.  Parents are responsible for the behavior of their minor children.  Period.

Exactly.. A 5 year wont have the sense to know the rights and wrongs.. He could be following what is taught by others...  I have seen this  ( sadly ) happen in my own country, not many but a few smaller kids chucking rocks at police land rovers..  In ghetto areas...The kids are not at fault, its the parents / those adults who are in charge of them...

That's ridiculous arresting a 5 year old child for throwing a rock at a car.  Then when the father comes home arrest, blindfold and handcuff him for half an hour.  Sure make the father pay for damages but I don't think anyone should of been arrested over this.  I hope they know how stupid this looks to the rest of the world.

Yeah!  How DARE they get upset when people throw rocks at them - I mean, hey... they're ONLY rocks after all.  Nobody could get hurt from being hit by a rock, could they?

Hey there are videos of Israeli kids throwing rocks at Palestinian adults and American tourists uploaded on youtube meanwhile the Israeli police forces look on... a la picking their noses with indifference.

"I charge thee in the sight of God, who giveth life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed the good confession; that thou keep the commandment, without spot, without reproach, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: which in its own times he shall show, WHO IS THE BLESSED AND ONLY POTENTE, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS; who only hath immortality, dwelling in light unapproachable; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power eternal. Amen" (I Tim 6:13-16).

Then THEIR parents should be hauled off to jail also.  Kids throwing rocks -ANY kids...is unacceptable.  It just makes them targets eventually.

They're Israelis!  They can't be arrested by Palestinians!

Right, how many Israelis are in Palestinian prisons?   I'm asking for a number, not more apologist rhetoric.

Not near as many as are in GRAVES dug by Palis...  Here's an idea - stop trying to kill every Jew in sight and you don't go to prison - fair enough?  Oh wait, I forgot - it's a heroic struggle they are involved in so it's excused.  And the wheel goes round and round and round and all they have or ever will have to show for it is more graves and prisoners - you really can't fix stupid, can you?

If body counts were what mattered, you'd be mobbed at the disproportionate numbers of dead on either side.  So that's not what you care about.

I don't see any numbers in your answer, so maybe there are no Israelis in Palestinian prisons.    There are hundreds of Palestinian children illegally held in Zionist cages though so this latest headline news story (not) about a 5-year old doesn't surprise me.
