What a load of.....

I have watched several programmes to date, same thing "anybody there
"Please knock or throw something to show you are here."

Never any single stupid thing. Why do they bother!!!!

Does anyone on this forum take this stuff seriously?

Shame, I'd rather them be honest and find nothing at all than "act" out scenes and look like idiots.

A favorite of mine is on "Ghost Hunters International"  The lead investigator, Barry, I think, who is Irish.  If you will notice, anytime Barry thinks there just might be something there he runs......   Any spirits or spectors have to be a little amazed as this guy asks for signs and then blows by them when he thinks he might have gotten one.  I do like that one just to see how fast Barry is each week!

Over the years, it's been increasingly hard to tell a "true" paranormal investigation versus one that is embelished, acted, or even totally fake.

That's a shame, as it seems an important subject.

Real show with real investigators is "My Ghost Story's" I know cause Ive been on it, but I dont know, some of the shows seem really scripted.

Agreed.
If ever they can produce aTV show that shows some possible paranormal phenomenon, the world will blast open and everyone will be out there trying to capture it on audio or video.

It just is not going to happen.
The prevelance of the shows on tele, is just a mirror of the interest on the public who are sick of the commercial unsoulless world.;

unfortuantely many people on this forum take this stuff seriously, many people not on this forum do as well and that is why they keep puking it out on television.

I hate it when they are constantly talking while they are trying hear something or when they point the little handi cams at their faces and give a running commentary and not on any of the  damn action.

i learned at a very early stage that those shows are all about hype.

Look at ghost adventures, travelled 50 miles to the haunted house to run away 5 minutes later.
