Sound of 'air raid siren' 'haunting' UK town

Residents in Swansea claim they are being woken up by a 'siren-like' wail - 75 years since the city was heavily bombed by the Nazis.

Noise abatement officials have launched an investigation, but admit the noise cannot be traced.

Swansea Council said it's had reports going back more than a year but it has become more frequent in recent months.

lots of factories still use these type of sirens for various uses, fire drills, shift changes etc. I heard one this morning at about 08:30 close to the vauxhall car factory in ellesmere port.
