Do Ouija boards work with one person?

I know that there are a lot of postings on ouija boards, so maybe my question is already answered. I have looked around though with no luck. So, can one person get a board to work, or do you need more people. I have had a board for quite some time, and I have learned a lot more about them from peoples comments here (thank you all), I realize there are risks, but I have not been able to get it to work on my own. I have had some odd experiences when using with others though. So anyhow, I will stop blabbing, but can anyone help me out?

Lonecat here,

I've noticed a lot of people inquire about this and also about where they can buy a Ouija board. It is possible to get results on your own but you need patience. It is much better with other people, at least three, say, because there seems to be more mental coördination and you know you all have the same purpose in mind: strength in numbers and all that. If you do it on your own you have to make sure you are in the right frame of mind and that means a "positive frame of mind". Don't be impatient and give up after ten minutes. The last time I tried it alone I had to persevere for half an hour before anything happened. Your finger has to be very lightly placed on the glass or whatever it is you are using as a guide and this means that about every ten minutes or so so have to keep changing from one hand to the other and supporting your arm at about elbow level with the other hand. As I say, I had patience for about half an hour before anything happened and even then, the upturned wine-glass I was using made only one, single but decisive movement in a straight line for about eighteen inches and then stopped. I tried for a few minutes longer but then gave up. However, I had been doing this in a rather anxious state of mind but when I had finished with the Ouija I suddenly became very sleepy and went to bed and had the best and most relaxing night's sleep I can ever remember.

Everybody should remember that, while it is better to exercise the Ouija in company you DO NOT NECESSARILY HAVE TO USE A BOUGHT OUIJA BOARD! I never use a board. I made a set of cards, using blank visiting cards with the letters of the alphabet written on each side "head to tail" so that which ever way you lay them out they are the right way up. I also drew a line beneath double-U so it would not be confused with "M" and under six to show it was not a nine and so on. I made cards for all the letters and numbers from 0 to 9 or ten and also made cards saying "yes" and "no" and one with a question mark in case the question was not understood. All these cards can be kept in a box or envelope and used at any time on any smooth surface such as a polished table. In a group I remember we once had a lot of results with the letters chalked out in a circle on a large draughtsman drawing desk and the metal screw-lid off a pot of paint. You really don't have to fork out money for a board at all. Try it. I hope this has been of some assistance. Best wishes from Loncat thumbsup.gif

Although there are many people and websites that say it is not possible to do the board alone, i suppose it is possible. i have not used it alone yet so i wouldnt know for sure. but ill take Lonecat's word for it. but in the case that you do use it alone, be very careful because you could summon up anything and it could hurt you. it is better to have 3 at least 3 people, or 2 if absolutly necessary. i think its like if you have more people, then the more likely you are to be safe from any evil spirits. theres something about the combined energies of people that results in certain outcomes. anyways, hope this helped. good luck trying and be careful.

I've used the board alone and found that it worked though more stunted. The board is basically allowing an opening for lower level spirits to make contact with you and I won't touch one anymore. dontgetit.gif

Yes, The board can be operated by 1 person.

I cannot do it on my own, however my wife can operate it by herself. In fact, questions can be asked by others that are no where near the board while she is using it and answers are recieved with out my wife having to speak.

Waterelement- It is possible to get a Ouija Board to work with only one person, but as Lonecat says, it takes patience... and I personally wouldn't recommend it.

The more people involved, the more energy that can be ulitilized by the communicating spirit to answer- as well as to provide protection against unwelcomed spirits.

Also, having a consitant ritual for starting and closing a Ouija session is important as well, as it allows your mind to adjust itself and open itself to communication.

No one here says what they got of messages with using the board by himself alone.

What I want to know is whether the lone user gets any messages at all.

People who use it together with others know it works although critics insist that it is all subtle interference of the users, at least one.

So, will you anyone who experience the Ouija board to work even though you are alone using it, just tell readers here what messages you get from what questions you ask.

I just now realize that the Ouija or people always direct questions to it, but the Ouija does not move all by itself without any question addressed to it.

Do people who use the Ouija ever experience the Ouija moving by itself and pointing out alpha-numerical signs that make out a message?

I'll close this as the original comments were posted 9 years ago and it's highly unlikely that any of those people are going to reply now, for any questions on this subject it is better to either ask in a more recent thread or start a new one.
