kitco Posted September 23, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 23, 2006 (edited) THIS story has an unknown ending- i did not take the trip There was a man , seemed normal, short old kind of funny, he carried with him a folder with flyers telling of a new finding the poster had pyramids and all that crap, he claimed to have found hieroglyphic writing carved into a rock bed in the fraser canyon, his location was top secret and would not tell me the exact location. the reason he was handing flyers out was because he was arranging a tour bus the next morning to go and take a look at it, included lunch and all that.....i was sceptical, and the damn thing cost nearly 150$ but to this day i wonder if that guy was telling the truth....may have but it was most likely native artw0ork! just wondering if it could be possible that they somehow found there way to beautiful british columbia, because the Pharaoh's did have cocaine in there system, and other items from North America!!! Sounds interesting but every time someone asks for money raises a red flag.It could possibly be native indian artwork like you said since there is lots of native indians in Canada. RollingThunder06 Posted September 23, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 23, 2006 I think that if it was for real somebody who had been on one of those "tours" would have leaked out the information by now. Most likely he got their money, took them on the bus out somewhere and stranded them while he took off in the bus. Big news like that wouldn't stay hush for long. Just like there's lots of egyptians in Egypt, or chinese in China. Sorry, I couldn't help myself but to comment. But I agree, whenever there's money to be asked and it's not coming from a well-known establishment, beware.
