Russia planning to send space probe to Phobos

The last time Russia sent a space probe towards Mars' moon, Phobos2 disappeared mysteriously. Before it lost communications with Earth and went silent it had imaged some kind of anomalous object.

So my question is, will the same thing happen again?

The list of facts about Phobos make it a very very strange object.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phobos_(moon)

1. One of the darkest objects in the inner solar system.

2. Strange grooves and streaks cover the surface.

3. Phobos supposedly isn't entirely solid rock and porous yet it's surface gravity varies by a large amount somehow.

and lastly according to wikipedia/space dot com:

"Recent images from Mars Global Surveyor indicate that Phobos is covered with a layer of fine-grained regolith at least 100 meters thick; it is believed to have been created by impacts from other bodies, but it is not known how the material stuck to an object with almost no gravity."

So my question is, does anybody think this new Phobos mission will have any chance of succeeding??? Especially if it has an ET base inside or ET beings using it it???... .My guess is it will have the proverbial snowball's chance in???....

I hope, this time russians will succeed (they had too many failures and partial successes :( ).
