One of my elderly cats starting panting before he died, when we took him to the vets, the vet told us that it's normally a very bad sign when a cat starts to pant, as it usually means it's in distress, though cat's can also pant if it's just very very hot.

Now I love cats and I've always preferred cats to dogs, but that is
one hell of an ugly cat. Scottish folds' are usually cute....

Its the non blinking wide eyes that make it look unreal.
I had a cat that acted just like a dog. I love both.
I want a dog so badly,but with the cats and the bunnies,I just cannot do it.
*sighs* I love greyhounds.Id like to adopt a couple of rescued track dogs.

It could be a Scottish fold trait im not aware of.I have Cornish rex,and they do not have eyes like average cats either.Huge and round.
