Still Waters Posted January 13, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 13, 2013 Animal rights activists in the Ukrainian capital Kiev have been protesting against the treatment of a shark that is being kept in a shopping centre as a tourist attraction. They say it does not have enough space to move but the retail outlet disputes the claim. http://www.bbc.co.uk...europe-21002714
JasonPollock Posted January 13, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 13, 2013 The problem with the world is if they can do something to increase revenue and traffic, they will... Even if that's at the harm of other human's or animals... What a sad world this is when others will so willingly exploit another species for financial gain...
freetoroam Posted January 13, 2013 #3 Share Posted January 13, 2013 Who ever gave them the right to capture a shark, take it out of its natural habitat and then put it on display? Those people have a lot to answer for, as well as the people buying the sharks to exhibit them! Maybe the people who are making money out of these sharks should be put on display for public view, after all, they are acting like sharks.
