Road rage: 'Dognapper' motorist drives off

An irate motorist has kidnapped a family’s Yorkshire Terrier in a baffling case of canine road rage.

After Wookie ran out into the road in front of her, the mystery woman stormed up the driveway of his home to confront the dog’s owners.

When told about the near miss, Ollie Wilkinson - a teenage friend of the owners who happened to be at their house - went to pick the seven-year-old terrier up to put him in a kennel.

But the woman promptly began shouting and swearing at the 14-year-old for the way he was handling the dog, grabbed hold of Wookie and put the pet into her car before driving off.

The incident happened a week ago and owners Paul and Alison Wilson haven’t seen Wookie since.

The blonde motorist also had an alsatian in the back of her car - which, if not belonging to her, raises fears she is a serial dognapper.
