Taylor Reints: Now that December 21, 2012, is done and over with, perhaps it should be explained how we are really all going to die. Don’t fret, though, you may well have to wait billions of years. When will humanity become extinct? Most likely, our species will go extinct in the next five or ten million years–perhaps even far sooner. It could be because an asteroid or comet will hit the Earth, or perhaps we will kill ourselves in nuclear annihilation. The speculations could go on forever until they reach ad absurdum, for which is why I shall refrain from going on about all of the possibilities.

A good article!  My guess is that there are alien species out there who are already aware of the process described.  Perhaps they are in another dimension?

My old body will not have to worry about this. :tsu:

Today we have the scientists researching life and the possible end of it by natural forces, and then we have those working on building more better and bigger nukes.
What a crazy world we live in, but I do hope if the world does end one day, its down to natural causes and not because the mad scientists and mad men have gone too far.
In an ideal World a law would be passed were NO guns were allowed and all those out there destroyed, trouble is the law makers are not going to take a risk of trying to pass that without making sure they are armed first.

Yep, in 10-20 years I seriously doubt I will be around.
But that's just fine with me.

Our current world is so screwed-up, I envision it getting much worse before getting any better. So, I'm ready to "go"
I don't feel sorry for myself at all, but I do feel sorry for mine and other's children, grandchildren, and their children.
