Family flee home over spiders in bananas

Still Waters

Recommended Posts

A family was forced to flee their home and have it fumigated after hundreds of potentially deadly spiders were found in a bunch of bananas bought at the local shop.

Father Jamie Roberts, 31, spotted white patches of what he thought was mould covering the fruit. However, on closer inspection, he saw tiny legs and realised the bananas were hiding a nest of spiders.

That is truly horrifying. Especially seeing them moving on the windowsill. I always check my produce very carefully before putting it in my cart for this exact reason.

This is why I don't eat bananas very often :unsure2:

Hahaha. That'll fix the little bugger!

:Since the edit function is still available on this post; Bananas bought around here have gnats. I keep them in tightly closed bags and only open them outside. I also must bag the peels, as that's where the eggs are laid and the gnats hatch from, apparently.
