Still Waters Posted March 11, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2014 A family was forced to flee their home and have it fumigated after hundreds of potentially deadly spiders were found in a bunch of bananas bought at the local shop. Father Jamie Roberts, 31, spotted white patches of what he thought was mould covering the fruit. However, on closer inspection, he saw tiny legs and realised the bananas were hiding a nest of spiders. http://www.telegraph...in-bananas.html
Jilliman Posted March 11, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 11, 2014 That is truly horrifying. Especially seeing them moving on the windowsill. I always check my produce very carefully before putting it in my cart for this exact reason.

AZDZ Posted March 12, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 12, 2014 (edited) Hahaha. That'll fix the little bugger! :Since the edit function is still available on this post; Bananas bought around here have gnats. I keep them in tightly closed bags and only open them outside. I also must bag the peels, as that's where the eggs are laid and the gnats hatch from, apparently. Edited March 12, 2014 by AZDZ
