Space Moose Posted April 25, 2003 #5 Share Posted April 25, 2003 I guess I put up the post because I needed more information and hoped that Fyre would expand on the topic some with another post.

Sidhe Posted April 25, 2003 #7 Share Posted April 25, 2003 Uh.. orbs? Rods? I have those eyeball floaters too DS. I hardly ever notice them but when I do, what a pain in the ****! But I think this is another kind of floater.. .. a handy tool for nightfishing?
Space Moose Posted April 25, 2003 #8 Share Posted April 25, 2003 But I think this is another kind of floater.. Don't forget about the ones that just won't flush. But if one of those is glowing, see a doctor.
neen Posted April 25, 2003 #9 Share Posted April 25, 2003 yes i did mean fyre, sorry about that.
Bizarro Posted April 25, 2003 #10 Share Posted April 25, 2003 nope, they are the same thing. the only thing is if you see 'flashes of light' when you see them it is causing eye damage. you really need to see a doctor immediately or you may lose part of your vision. that's what my doctor said when i saw him about them. Mentalcase Posted April 25, 2003 #11 Share Posted April 25, 2003 So is that what lightfloaters are DS? I'm lost. I understand what you are saying. What is the meaning behind the question? Hmmm
Bizarro Posted April 25, 2003 #12 Share Posted April 25, 2003 well, that's what i assume he is talking about because he said 'strange optical phenomenon: lightfloaters'. his bizarre rambling afterwards doesn't make much sense.
God18 Posted April 27, 2003 #13 Share Posted April 27, 2003 There are two types of floaters that I know of one is actual particles of whatever that get trapped under a layer of your eye when they are developing when your a baby. Another is something the person who found claims to be a undiscovered species of animal. He was a "UFO" watcher and had several different cameras set up in small area pointed at a known "hot spot" what he found after examining the tapes very closely were very fast, little spiral shaped, worm thingines. I wish i could find footage of this, when I saw it it was on Discovery or TLC or something.
schadeaux Posted April 27, 2003 #14 Share Posted April 27, 2003 I've know what you're talking about, God18. I saw them on Sightings, I think. Weird little bugger, invisible to the naked eye, but they were everywhere. Little spiral thingies. Maybe they are related to orbs?
Guest Guest Posted April 27, 2003 #15 Share Posted April 27, 2003 You're referring to the 'rods' phenomena. Discussions about the subject can be found HERE, HERE, and HERE MM
