'Laughter yoga' club causing 'mental agony'

When you're smiling, the whole world smiles with you, but when you're laughing your neighbours complain of "mental agony, pain and public nuisance".

At least, they do in Mumbai where the High Court has ordered members of a 'laughter yoga' club to restrain their joy.

The judges have told local police officers to find a way for the local residents of a Mumbai suburb to have the last laugh in a long running legal battle over whether the sound of laughter amounts to "aural aggression".

Perhaps the neighbours need a few 'laughter yoga' sessions to make them feel better.

Well..actually I would not care to have to listen to forced laughter that escalates into screeching myself.

Normal laughter usually sounds pleasant but soon stops being that once it is being forced and if I am awakened early in the morning by humanoid hyenas then I might not be so receptive.

However maybe there is a way to let these people have their cackle laugh-fest without being a daily annoyance.
