Lost Wedding Pearls

Hi there

I am looking for some kind help/guidence or support with a missing item. This item is an a5 size dark green bag containing a pearl necklace, earrings and bracelet set which is very precious to me. The item isn't small so not easily lost but I haven't seen it for a couple of years.

Any help you can give me to it's whereabouts would be gratefully received, as I am stressing now with my wedding coming up in April this year.

Thanks so much

:) x

A couple years? Hate to say it, but those things could be anywhere. Buried in a box somewhere, perhaps left in another location... Perhaps you set them aside somewhere and now can't remember where... Do you have a jewelery maker in the family who might have snagged them to reset them?

I have split with my previous partner, moved back home and then moved again hence reason why I can't lay my hands on them. I do know though that I wouldn't have left them at the ex's house that I do know for sure.

Noone else would have snagged them in the family and only a couple of people knew about them.

I keep getting the notion that they are buried somewhere, I don't mean that in a buried underground way, but rather tucked in amongst other things... If you have been moving around a bit, that could be the case.

Location? Shrug, dunno, sorry. Just a notion of being tucked away.. Amongst a heap of papers, or memorabilia, holiday or travel stuff, perhaps a dress purse or clothes... Maybe a something within a something... dunno what they are close to. Could probably be anything that's been packed away over the last couple years. Sorry, that's all I got.

Do you recall for sure the last time you wore the set? Maybe they are in with that stuff? I dunno.

The set has never ever been worn or out the box. It's far too precious and would only be worn first on my wedding day :( might try my suitcases as have only looked in boxes so far

Thanks and I will let you know how I got on

Congrats by the way. I'm getting married in May, and your thread has reminded me that I still need to restring some of my sisters pearls so she can wear them to the wedding :)

Hope you find your pearls on time. Even if you don't, I'm sure it will be a glorious nuptials.

Thank you, it's funny how we worry over the slightest thing us brides. I am just conscieous that I am wearing quite a plain dress so needed the pearls to add to the overall look of the dress, but didn't want to wear cheap pearls but if I don't find these I can't afford to bbuy any more real ones

Thanks for your support though I will keep looking

Yeah, I've been flaking out over all sorts of stupid crap. My dress too is going to be fairly plain, in green and gold. I guess I should hop on it and make up some sparkley to go along with it, but I kind of can't do that till the dress is made, and that isn't till the first week of April... So heh, I've been mulling my options too.

I would suggest that in the event that you don't find your pearls... Perhaps arrange with a loved one to borrow jewels for the day? I know it won't really be the same, I understand. But always a wise idea to have a plan B you can be happy with just in case. And yeah, keep digging for them, you still got some time :)

Well, why pearls? Does anyone own other lovely sparkley? Like if I wanted to, I could borrow my moms string of crystals- they were originally my great grandmas. Or depending on your eye color, perhaps someone has a gem to complement them? Or, perhaps if someone has a fantastic broach you could make a compromise and get some high quality glass pearls to set the broach onto.

I'm not trying to doubt your pearl desires here. Just that there is a lot of other lovely sparkley out there, trying to help out your plan B.

Im not a psychic per se but I closed my eyes and got a picture of a string of rope, it was white and looked like it has been used before and then wrapped back up again in a hurried way, it was a little frayed at the edges. Let me know if this makes sence or helps you find it! I was close one other time. Good luck.

What's the shape of the pearls you see? I mean the pearls themselves, are the round, oval, branch looking, funky shapes? Just being curious :)

No I didnt see pearls at all. Just the rope, like the pearls would be near it or something. I just got a picture of the rope and thats all. I dont even know what im doing but I closed my eyes one other time on a previous lost item thread and got an image that the lost item turned out to be next to so I just thought i'd try again... *shrugs*

Edit: rope like the kind you use to tie stuff up with. It wasnt a great big roll of it, nor was it the really fat kind. It looked like the kind youd get at a 99 cent store or something and could be used to tie the side of a mattress to the roof of a car or keep a sleeping bag tied up with. It was white cotton as opposed to plastic.. it wasn't the really cheap kind, just smaller, thinner and shorter than you imagine most rolls of rope (the kind used on ships)to be...

That makes me think mum and dads garage is a possibility. Its the one place I haven't relooked in yet. I will keep you both posted when I have been round there to look.

The pearls are white classic round shape and the necklace and bracelet are quite unusual in that theres little bits of white gold in between each pearl. I am definitely not a diamante kind of girl, it just wouldn't look right with the dress, or on me for that matter.

Thanks both

Upstairs closet..closet.. in a box with photographs? I see a dark almost purple button up shirt with green stripes in a closet.

These are simply my impressions.I am also getting something about under the slacks..grey slacks..dressy pants. I'm also picking up they're not truly lost in the traditional sense.

They're in something somewhere you haven't looked in the exact location.
