For those of you who have an interest in astrology and feel affected by the movement of planets and stars, you know that Mercury retrograde often brings up past issues that need to be cleared.  Many times this means someone from your past will pop back into your life, or you'll pop back into someone else's because you feel like you just haaaaaaaave to.

Since MR started in mid-July, I've had the Matchbox Twenty song "If You're Gone" playing in my head multiple times every. single. day.  I hate that song.  I've never liked it.  I've never thought about it for one second unless I passed it on the radio dial.  And now it's on repeat in my noggin, like a scratched CD.  It hit me today that this song jumped into my head right around the same time as the onset of the current MR, that an ex is likely thinking about me, and that I'm so glad I'm off Facebook and basically unable to be found, unless some dude still has my email address after over half a decade.  I hope this obnoxious song falls out of my head next week and I don't even notice for days and days because it will just be...gone.

This Mercury Retrograde will complete on August 7th, and I'm wondering about what ghosts of relationships past (romantic or otherwise) have reared their heads in other UM-ers' lives.  If not in that particular way, what has MR brought up in your life - car troubles, financial issues, communication problems?  MR can be a real b, but she sure makes us handle stuff.

So far, nothing for me. My deceased sis' birthday is coming up prior to the end of the retrograde. No doubt there is more of that that needs to be cleared. I try not to hold her back with mourning tho. I will look for her in my dreams.
Financial troubles? Yeah, got a call that I paid too much, that I needed to come and get the excess money. However, I love carrying positive balances. And they were pretty nasty not long ago when I fell behind in paying them. Let them worry about holding on to the exce$$! LOL.

Mercury retrograde is a don't buy don't sign don't book a flight time. The longer it goes on,the more intense it become.
Book a flight,I guarantee you postpone ,change plans,plans fall through .
Buy a new iPad,it will have more bugs in it than an ant hill .
MR is a time to plan .
It is a time to rekindle lost love or friendship . But only talk on the phone or email ,which is dicey at this time at best .
All communications go wonky during MR.
So plan to meet your old friend,after retrograde is over,and all will go smoothly .

Then one thing I noticed,big secrets ,long held verboten kind of stuff,that means something to you,sometimes comes out by accident during MR.
That's my fave MR event,otherwise ,I do nothing important until its over.
And I've observed MR for decades . This and void of course moon rules,are the only two astrological events,that I actually allow to govern some of my personal movements .  
Don't buy,dont sign . You will thank me later.
