Sanidia Vortez Posted January 2, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2005 hello, i am a great fan of all rap artists as i think they speak the truth.. but it also a shame that some of them have been taken away from us.. but their words live on. if you have anything to add to this be happy to do that.. and i will try and read evryone's
mypaddedroom Posted January 2, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 2, 2005 I think it is a shame Tupac has left us, but I think it's a shame some people don't like his music. But Tupac writes music for a certain type of people, people that can relate to him. If you don't like Tupac's music it's ok because obviously that song you can not relate to! And only true Tupac fans can relate to every song.
_hAiLO_ Posted January 2, 2005 #3 Share Posted January 2, 2005 Snoop Dogg just released an album called 'R & G' and Dr. Dre will release an album any time soon. Ice Cube is starring in a movie called 'Are We There Yet?' and its gonna be funny as hell . I too feel bad Tupac left us in such a young age. The reason why he wrote soOoOo many songs was because he knew that one day he will die, so he devoted his life into writing songs. http://www.dapslyrics.com/display.php Just enter '2Pac' in the search toolbar and you'll find over 3 pages worth of songs he featured in and made by himself. mypaddedroom Posted January 4, 2005 #4 Share Posted January 4, 2005 It's nice to see someone as smart as you are! ^^ Man people go off on B.S. and say ahh Pac is still alive how can he make cd's and be dead. Nobody realizes he seen hiz death! He knew he would die at a young age so he made at least 3 songz a day to leave his music with us. Just sad Eminem produced his last album! EDUCANALE Posted January 4, 2005 #5 Share Posted January 4, 2005 Good riddance. Nothing but a bunch of violent hoodlums with money. The more of them that kill themselves the better we are off.
HolyDevil2053 Posted January 4, 2005 #6 Share Posted January 4, 2005 It is nice to imagine that he foresaw his own death...but in reality, anyone that lives the lifestyle he chose to live usually does end up getting shot. I like Tupac and his music, don't get me wrong...but that's about as far as I'll take it. I don't think he planned ahead to have all these songs released in such timely order after his death either. I am in the music business and you will not believe how many songs an artist will write, record, and the majority of all their efforts will never be brought public ears. I think the people that have those songs in their posession saw it as a perfect marketing strategy and they were right. With all the popularity of the whole- he's not dead really, or he saw his own death...- they made lots of money on this and as long as they have sample recordings and half finished works that they can just add a recent artist to...they will continue to make more money off of it. I had never even heard of Tupac until he died. 438899[/snapback] Man, you guys obviously don't understand that much. They where more than just "violent hoodlums with money," they where also humans who a great talent. Yeah sure, they where thugs and came from violent and poor backgrounds. I aint trying to say they model citizens, but they had talent and where able to reach people. Personally I find the above statement to be highly offensive becuase it highlights one of the major problems with America. Americans have too much of an "us and them" complex. If all you see is "violent hoodlums" then you guys are missing the whole picture. Also, "The more of them that kill themselves the better we are off." is a stupid statement. They are fellow people just like us, but I guess you guys don't feel that way. I guess you think that people from certian areas are just separate things that are only good at killing each other like wild animals. Plus, being black myself, you have no idea what's its like. And to make a statement like that just reflects nothing but ignorance. People like you p*** me off, and the less of your attitudes the better for everyone. Dowdy Posted January 6, 2005 #14 Share Posted January 6, 2005 "Tupac died at 25. If Malcolm X died at 25, he would have been a street hustler named Detroit Red. If Martin Luther King died at 25, he would of been a local babtist minister who had not yet arrived on the national scene. If i would i died at 25, i would of been know as a trumpet player and struggling composer. Just a slither of my life potential" - Quincy Jones

Tupac is still making MONEY! But he was not concerned about that all he wanted was for the worl to CHANGE and for his voice to be heard. And Dr.Dre is making a album sometime this year called "DEOX" also he's the best producer! GAME has a album dropping this month PRODUCED by DR.DRE. Dre owns the best label out ther AFTERMATH! Also Cube s acting and will be dropping a album soon. And SNOOP he's doing his thing just dropped his album! So all I can say is I learned one thing you can't stop haters from hatin'! Deimos Posted January 7, 2005 #23 Share Posted January 7, 2005 (edited) I can see that a lot of people hate rap, and I have no problem with that, but just don't insult it is all. I mean, none of the people on here who like rap have come onto the rock threads and started dissing rock and putting it down, but so many people have come onto the rap threads knocking rap.
