Hi,

My meditations always involve these things.

Quote

I don't think though that meditation is the only key to moving past blocks in each level though. Self Analysis and reflection on thoughts and feelings (when they occur) outside of meditiation is also helpfull.

I go so far as having conversations with my inner wisdom during these moments.

Hmmm....... that makes sence, but I'm not sure if I do this.
I just ask myself why are you thinking along these lines. I sort of bombard myself with questions of why and how and anylyse where these feelings or thoughts came from.. I wouldn't personally call it a conversation with an inner wisdom? lol, the only response I seem to get is "because your just being stupid" which doesn't really sound like inner wisdom.. more like, inner pragmatist..

What if bombarding yourself with questions was being stupid? There was a time when I did that, most of us start out that way. Then we kind of calm down and look for that so called wisdom. We set our intent for wisdom instead of unproductive confrontations. We then pick a subject of interest and ask, "what would you(wisdom part of you) like to inform me about that would help me at this time. Consider that information and put the advice you get into practice in some way.

Then you will know if its wisdom or some form of self abuse. That is if your intuition is not already in place to sift out the crap from the treasures.

I must say that in your case the meditations have reached a stage where they can be very productive.

Best Wishes!!
John

Interesting article and I loved how the levels of consciousness are somewhat similar to the levels   what undergoes in the process of enlightenment in BUddhism..

The Morons guide to consciousness....

5 basic levels...

Level 1... Zombie... These are totally asleep, have no concept of free will or even will of there own... they are mindless... expressionless... don’t even know they are alive, will probably not even have any concept of death when it happens to them.

Level 2... Slaves... These have developed a slight capacity to explore the possibility that they have a free will, but believe that the government and doctors know best so overrule themselves and smile and laugh occasionally.

Level 3... Workers... These people have convinced themselves they are awake and get busy being activists... they follow alternative media and are “aware” of certain trigger words like “the banksters” and “ false flag operations” and “alternative medicine” and are fully aware of their own free will and are using it for the good of “awakening others”... They are blind to the part they still play in the matrix.

Level 4... Jedi... these glorious individuals realise they have there own abilities to manipulate their environment, they have not yet mastered most aspects but can perform most basic skills and they “see” the illusion that has been pulled over their faces. They grow daily. They are the ones who get the most **** from TPTB.

Level 5... Jedi Masters... TPTB at this point have lost. The mind is free and is written off by the illusion. They are unaffected by world events, but avid followers of people. They like to play. They are more than able to manipulate their own reality and they will help if they feel a good force in someone. They marvel at the matrix and see its wonder both in the digital and manifest. There main goal is to search and find other Jedi.

... ;)

That's a pretty cool map..

I think that once one reaches that highest level "Jedi Master" the next step would be either helping the zombies and all below to rise up, then perhaps ascention to a higher plain of existence..

Edited to add, being a starwars fan, I'd probably add "Padawan" after worker, & "storm trooper" below worker. That way it kind of keeps with the 7 levels like the astral, & Starwars.. lol..

May the force be with you.. :D

I don't see much love in these "scales", there is no doubt in my mind that the extent to which growth has occurred in the psyche, is closely matched by the growth of selfless love, in our relation with the world. If that is lacking, so too are we, and we are still firmly rooted in the ego. Yielding to the temptation to compare your "progress" favourably to that of lesser beings mired in supposed ignorance, is a sure sign to me that real change has not occurred, in you. There may be a real and genuine impulse to expand one's outlook, but we remain essentially ego-centric while we act with an eye to our own benefit, however indirectly. And putting others below us on any scale, whether it be that of intelligence, or conscious awareness, or moral improvement, is just about pumping ourselves up. The wise man would say, "there but for the grace of God go I". Unless you think the werewithal that allows you to stand above the crowd, isn't really something that was gifted to you......

Any quest of inner discovery rightly aims to the ultimate goal of the God-like within us, and nothing has changed over the millenia as to the touchstone of progress in that journey, As it was in the days of Christ, so it still is......

Lol, somehow I don't think one could even become a Jedi without helping those in need.

Love is an essential part of this.

Quote

14) Love (500): This represents unconditional love – love that is pure, unfaltering, unwavering, not subjected to any external conditions. It is not the same love that is commonly portrayed in mass media, which is rooted in lust, desire, pride, control, addiction, attraction, jealousy and possessiveness. While the media often establishes love and hates as opposite poles, hate is actually rooted from pride (desire for control/possessiveness), and not actual love.
Reverence is the main emotion in the level of (unconditional) love. At this level, duality becomes an illusion; the feeling is one of entirety that rises above separation. Unconditional love is inclusive of everyone and expands beyond self. While reason deals with specific data, love deals with entirety, thus giving rise to the capacity for instanteous understanding. This aspect is often linked with intuition. The process one undergoes is revelation. The life-view is benign, there is no separation, fear or negativity. Hawkin claims only 0.4% of the population (1 in every 250 people) ever reaches this level.

A map of consciousness is by no means meant to be used as a comparison to others.. If it was used as such, the purpose would as you say be egotisic and self defeating.. It is a tool for ones self development, and I do not see anything egotisic about that because though such knowledge one can idtentify need in others and help them in their lives.. (which I have done just this week, and plan to do much more in my life.)
Some may think it is about standing above the crowd, but you proably find that such intentions would block their self improvement and there would be no progression for such individuals until they would come to realise it. There is nothing wrong with standing above the croud so to speak, I can think of two historical individuals who stood as giants among men, Jesus.. Mother Teresa.. They stood very high on the Map of consciousness, but were certainly not egotisical individuals.
