South African town overrun by penguins

With their distinctive black and white feathers and adorable waddle, penguins have long been a firm favourite with animal lovers.

But the birds would appear to have a bullying side, if the complaints of exasperated South African residents are anything to go by.

Betty's Bay has become the stomping ground for a badly-behaved group of penguins who have taken advantage of a broken fence that separates them and their human residents, CNN reported.

Any animal will take advantage of a hole in the fence.

A couple of days ago it was a bunch of rowdy drunken elephants, now it's a invasion of beligerent 'Jackass Penguins' (aptly named, by the way)...

It can't get any better than this, could it? :)

I'm guessing the home owners are hoping that the whales don't get in on the act....

Is it bad that I kind of want to visit there now? Just to see badly behaved penguins and maybe shout at them "you dang kids get off my lawn!".
