Songs are songs, and nothing more. Suicide is a choice by the one who commits it.

WoW! The singers voice was amazing and I love this song/piece!

It does give you quite a strange feeling that I can't put my finger on...but I'm not leaping into rivers from the windows of castles, so I obviously didn't get the message clearly

I am intrigued by this so off a Googling I will go!

Edit:

Ew! After listening to all the other remakes I hated them; both the Sarah's and even Bjork. Diamanda Galas is the best IMO. I did like Billie Holiday's version tho, but it was a different feel to the entire song.

The original w/original singer is here: (yes, it's in Hungarian).

Might have missed it, idk(?) But what was the subliminal ('vocal') message? (p/m it to me if ya don't wanna post it...thanks)

IMO...from the music & lyrics-(?), it made me wanna embrace & appreciate life not throw it away?...

Maybe my brain doesn't soak up and take too good to suicidal subliminals

lol!

Thanks for the heads-up Lightning.

Outta curiosity, wanted to read the lyrics to the song so i googley googled it...

I agree, sounds depressing...But life is what ya make of it.

Not trying to sound heartless here; But the dude sounds like he needed to get outta the rat race more or something?...

''Whatever the circumstances, there's 'no excuse' for taking your own life for anyone anything & or any reason.'' :tu:

==================================

LITERAL ENGLISH TRANSLATION:

It is autumn and the leaves are falling

All love has died on earth

The wind is weeping with sorrowful tears

My heart will never hope for a new spring again

My tears and my sorrows are all in vain

People are heartless, greedy and wicked...

Love has died!

The world has come to its end, hope has ceased to have a meaning

Cities are being wiped out, shrapnel is making music

Meadows are coloured red with human blood

There are dead people on the streets everywhere

I will say another quiet prayer:

People are sinners, Lord, they make mistakes...

The world has ended!
