Chin's up,lads and lasses because I've not vanished yet.

My part- time posting is only going to last three more weeks.
It depends mostly on what happens after Ty gets his stitches taken out.
So if the vet decides that he's capable of walking down the stairs unaided I'll get really stuck in.
I'm thinking it'll be mid February at the earliest and maybe March at the latest.

Thanks to all the latecomers that have wished me,my sis and the dogs well.

Sorry to hear it Medium . I hope it all works out,and as I always say, acupuncture can't hurt.

I tried acupuncture once, but I couldn't help feeling a bit of a prick!

Hope you can return to bantering with us soon MB.  I agree wholeheartedly, this place does get under the skin - and in a very GOOD way.  We'll miss your input but look forward to your return - best wishes for Ty and Sis as well!

It's like a band of brothers here in this community.
One for all and all for one just like the Musketeers.
Despite me being not on the same intellectuial plateau your still looking out for me.
Tbh there's such glaring gaps in my knowledge you could drive a ten ton truck through it.
But I was correct when I said you could be as outspoken as you want and nobody would think the worse.
I actually relish the prospect of doing more bantering here.
Thanks again for all the compliments.

I'll be sure to pass this on to Ty and Kayla about all these nice guys on my forum.

I paid two grand of my own redundancy money to sort out Ty's operation.
That in itself is a pretty good turn but it's what happened next that makes mankind well worth preserving.
The woman at the Boxer rescue centre offered to refund my money with a cheque.
It might have come through a third party and not from her funds but it's still a brilliant gesture.
There might be scumbags in this world but there's also people with a heart of gold.
Ty's a really spoilt boy at the moment by getting the best food and care.
That's why I get the majority of his kisses because he knows deep inside I saved his legs.
If his recovery process goes pear- shaped I would pay for the operation again despite it eating into my overdraft.
It's the small things that make the greatest difference.
