I have heard thunder in a snowstorm but I can't recall ever seeing lightning, however, I am usually hiding indoors when it snows, with cocoa.
When it happens around here, it is during the night. I have yet to see a t-snowstorm during the day and when the lightning flashes, everything turns pink wub.gif

Here it just turns grey sad.gif I hate Michigan Winters....

And in Thunderstorms here, the sky turns a pale, sickly green.

We have tornado warnings all the time but no tornados.

I live in the county outside Houston. We have alot of of them, but Houston doesn't. I guess that's a good thing. Oh, yes, and hurricane season is right around the corner. My personal favorite!!! w00t.gif

here in finland lots of snow an a few snowstorms per year but never seen lightning with it

It seems like this thread has served it's purpose; I don't see any reason to keep it open any longer.

Too many people on both sides of the spectrum have fallen into this mentality that a full one half of the country are the enemy for having different beliefs...in a country based on freedom of expression. It is this infighting that allows the focus to be taken away from "we the people" being able to watch, and have control over government corruption and ineptitude that is running rampant in our leadership.

People should be working towards fixing problems, not creating them.
