Yeah, I only have the trade paperback Volume 1 "Days Gone Bye". I got it awhile ago and wanted to get the rest but just never got around to it.

It's a really good series. I'd recommend reading the rest of it. My one complaint is that they change artists after vol. 1 and the new guy they have isn't as good.

I never doubted myself for a minute for I knew that my monkey-strong bowels were girded with strength, like the loins of a dragon ribboned with fat and the opulence of buffalo dung.

*Note to self, need more henchman, good ones this time. Also, start auditions for new female lab assistant.

That sucks, Tony Moore's art is such a good fit. I saw its Weekly now... I hope they're not just trying to shove it out there as much as possible.

Well, they are just shoving it out there but it's a re-release of the older issues.

The comic series is fantastic. It's surprisingly character driven. The series premiere of this recently leaked to the web and people are saying it's award worthy.
An award worthy zombie television series? Oh dear I am excited. I have been since they put the trailer for it online but now I'm super excited. I really need to read the comics too.

I think i've recommended them enough on here, so all i'm going to say is that that's a good idea.

I also agree. It kind of veered off the comics a little bit, but just enough to keep it interesting.

I have no tv and no home internet.... bugger.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Well, it premiered last night. So, that could be a problem.  :P  That is unless you live outside the U.S.

Yeah.  :D In the comic he doesn't climb into the tank so i was like "where's Glenn?"  :hmm: Then his voice came over the radio.

The effects were great too.

From imdb:

Quote

The numbers for last night's debut of the highly anticipated new TV series The Walking Dead are in and it has AMC grinning from ear to ear. The show that has put horror on the forefront of both hardcore fans and non horror fans is a huge success and is sure to spread from positive word a mouth advertising. What are the numbers?

The 90-minute Halloween night debut delivered 5.3 million viewers and 3.6 million adults 18-49. That breaks the record for the largest demo audience for any cable television show all year and rates higher than any other AMC series ever.
