But all the time in the back of these things there was the hill-quiet and the stony pastures, and sometimes they made me ashamed of what I was - human and full of a thousand wormy thoughts and selfishness, but more often they were like hands to heal.

When I first saw "Doomsday Preppers" in my local tv listings, I mistakenly read it as "Doomsday Peppers" and thought it was some sort of oddball cooking show....
Now peppers are suddenly showing up in the conspiracy forum.
I'm not stupid... I can connect dots just as good as anyone...
Obviously Monsanto has created a new strain of not just genetically modified peppers, but genetically enhanced peppers.
These peppers individually are just about the same as your mild-mannered, every day pepper. But when they're bunched together, they form a sort of hive mind collective bent on world domination by taking over the internet and using mind control and really tasty appetizers.
What I originally thought of as just me misreading my local tv listings because I was quickly scanning and not really paying close attention was in reality a secret message, a cry for help sent out by an Monsanto employee who knows The Real, Honest-to-Goodness Truth™ and is trying to get the message out about the "doomsday" these evil peppers (see what I did there
) are trying to bring about. Using my tv listings website to get the message out is just that brave-but-anonymous-so-he-or-she-doesn't-lose-his-or-her-really-well-paying-job whistle-blower's way of spreading the word in as obscure a way as possible so as not to draw attention to him or herself.
But the evil pepper hive mind was onto our mysterious Monsanto messenger and used their willpower to not only change the the entry on my local tv listings website, but to also put the thought in my head that I was just reading too fast and had misread the listing.
Its all so clear now.....
Why else would I eat a stuffed pepper for dinner a few nights ago when I had never had one before..???
Why else would a good friend of mine be facebooking about a delicious-sounding dish he's making for dinner that uses Ro-Tel as a base...???
(What's Ro-Tel you may ask? Chopped tomatoes........................... and diced green chilli peppers.....
)
Why else would I be planning on having a roaster red pepper and Greek cheese bruschetta with lunch today..??
And then a picture of some peppers shows up in the conspiracy forums??
Deny it all you want... the connections are so obvious that even someone with no tastebuds could see it.....
