Oh i can read between lines, but most who hunt deer may get the head mounted they also keep the meat for food.No i do not agree for someone to just kill anything for sport for the purpose of looking at it,just saying i have never met 1 single person who does that!No elk here just more deer than most can account for,and anyone who kills one with a bow or rifle has plans on eating it!

Hubby and I hunt.  Elk and deer.  Hubby used to contract with the local BLM for varmint control.  We also fish.  We eat what we kill.  We have the evil mounted heads in our home and *gasp* even fish mounted.

Hubby used to do the varmint control for the ranchers and BLM because of the damage that beavers, badgers, prairie dogs, coyotes, etc. do to the stock and property.  Humans have managed to wipe out most of the natural predators.  No predators means starvation and disease for the animals.

BUT we also own guns because we enjoy shooting and competition.  (Usually with each other.)

You are far too paranoid. I was only asking a question.

How many times do you have to get the same answer? Post numbers 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 38, and 39 have now answered.
You have not read them all right.

In an ideal World a law would be passed were NO guns were allowed and all those out there destroyed, trouble is the law makers are not going to take a risk of trying to pass that without making sure they are armed first.

No 2, this is want i wanted to know,

Right, because you assumed that in the US it's ok to hand guns to kids unsupervised with no permission even though it's been explained many times to you that it's against the law and most people aren't that irresponsible.  Is it legal in England to hand porn or alcohol to a child under 18?

N0 3. Wow, now thats a problem!!!

Unsupervised children hurting each other by accident is a problem period.

Does this mean that all those working in the youth clubs will also get full training?

Did you read the article?  It's clearly explained that some of the funding goes for this exact thing.  Even the little quip in the first picture shows a professional training a young person.

See, its not that difficult to just answer a question.

Must you be snotty?

99% of hunters also agree.  Who here has posted that they like killing for the sake of killing?  Please point it out.

No i am not being snotty, just can`t get a decent answer out of some of you lot without you getting out your guns.....some of you are so tetchy. You need to calm down, i am not a threat to you, just a little ol English person asking a few questions. Some of you can`t handle that, makes us wonder what you are like armed!

What we are like armed?Ask the nazi's who we were begged by mr churchill to take down!

"If it is not advantageous,do not move.If objectives can not be attained,do not employ the army.Unless endangered do not engage in warfare. The ruler cannot mobilize the army out of personal anger. The general can not engage in battle because of personal frustration. When it is advantageous, move;when not advantageous, stop.Anger can revert to happiness, annoyance can revert to joy,but a vanquished state cannot be revived, the dead cannot be brought back to life." I expected an answer of that kind that slightly dodges the problem... sadly it makes not the problem go away.

that does not reflect reality.hunting pests doesn't involve eating them, however there is nothing wrong with having fun blasting prairy dogs, rats, jackrabbits, cayoties....etc and other vermins.

You've made judgmental and condescending comments about my country while not trying to understand what we are saying to you.  Yes, it makes me "tetchy".  It also makes me "tetchy" for some uninformed person to make the same type of comments about anything with the same type of arrogant attitude.

You've been given many decent and accurate answers.  You either ignore them or just don't like them.

Actually everything you just said there is very snooty and antagonizing. Anyone ever ask you over and over if you're cranky and you keep saying no until finally you become very cranky. It's called pushing buttons and you're button pushing finger is going to get swollen with those type of remarks.

HANG THEM!  SALT THE GROUND!

Strange as it may sound, we hunt and enjoy the time spent together and compete as to who does the best.

Guess we are evil.
