A British restaurant has created the world's first 'inter-religious' Easter egg, using curry-flavoured chocolate and symbols from both Christianity and Hinduism.

The India Dining restaurant in the Home County of Surrey has created the 'Vishneaster Egg' for customers to mark the arrival of Easter and the Hindu festival of Vishnu.

'Inter-religious' Easter egg?

That's funny considering the origins of Easter is a pagan celebration welcoming the spring equinox. They used bunnies as a symbol of fertility and colored eggs representing the sunlight of spring.

Early Christians converted pagans by usurping pagan practices into their belief system. Tsk tsk.
