Still Waters Posted March 8, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 8, 2015 Horses (Equus caballus) were first domesticated around 6,000 years ago and have performed many important roles since then, but their ability to understand the gestures of their human handlers remained unstudied until fairly recently. http://www.bbc.com/e...e-than-we-think
xYlvax Posted March 8, 2015 #2 Share Posted March 8, 2015 Anyone who's been around horses knows this. You have to approach them and use certain gestures and body language so as not to startle them, others to let them know what you expect them to do-such as when you gesture for a hoof you are cleaning. Smart, beautiful animals.
