I found this thought provoking...if you were born blind and never saw the world.... how can your mind dream of it? Worth a read...

What blind people see when they dream

It’s impossible for a sighted man to comprehend the experience of the blind.

He can close his eyes and run his fingers across a few lines of braille or wear an eye mask and gain a sense of what it's like to navigate the world without sight, but the experience is nothing but a pale facsimile.

The sighted must simply listen to and learn from those who are blind.

They can empathize and understand, but they'll never fully comprehend.

Just as impossible, then, would be to comprehend the dreams of the blind...

This was really cool to read. I wish there was a way to experience being truly blind without...y'know, going blind permanently.

yeah, I'd be really curious about what imagery they experience when dreaming. I'm betting there are some folks who were born blind who through modern medicine/science got the ability of sight later on might be able to shed light (pun intended) on this

I don't know,I can see and go to sleep and have no dreams, and when I do have a dreams,it is as much of a feeling or sense of something. Is it possible that they dream but in a very different way, with scents and sounds and the way things feel?
