Making them witness the complete and utter violation and destruction of everything and everyone they hold dear while they are powerless to stop it.

Torture/murder/rape etc. The most utterly disgusting and horrific acts imaginable. Things you would never want to see happen to any living thing...

Pretty dark, but you started the topic... :innocent:

Physical pain = kicked in the ball, trust me - not a great feeling!

Emotional pain = I'll be boring and say being cheated on by a girl he loves to death :)

I tend to focus around my family. With that said I think the worst thing you can do to Somone has to do with doing something to the people that person loves. But I worry why the question is asked in the first place :(

"I wish neither to possess, Nor to be possessed. I no longer covet paradise, more important, I no longer fear hell. The medicine for my suffering I had within me from the very beginning, but I did not take it. My ailment came from within myself, But I did not observe it until this moment. Believe it or not, now I know this might sound crazy, in all honesty, and I pick my words carefully, you might not want to know this but we are all different, what is one man’s passion could be another man’s poison...

It is all a matter of taste, remember though if it doesn't kill him/her they could just come back stronger, and we don't want that now do we...

As for me, hmm, has to be honesty, when you know just by the look in the eye they mean it, ouch...

the truth comes with a straight jacket, one size fits all....

Well we've gone around this before; serving durian, or even bringing some of it into the dining room, far exceeds any quiche in evility.

For girl is raped by her own father/brother. For man probably hurt his most loved one. But I guess it depends on people, some don't care at all.

That's interesting. I would think that a man/boy being raped by a a father or brother would be just as traumatizing. And Somone doing something  to a mothers child would trump both.

I think betrayal is the worst thing men or women could do to each other.  Women value loyalty as much as men.

seems to me there are 2 very definite answers and yet many are calling it relative.

rape and betrayal.

however i was looking for more scientific answers, some "dels" (unit) of pain if you will.
being burned alive, crucifixion upside down, OLDBOY (korean movie),

there are so much more creative answers that add together both physical and mental aspects of pain in a cocktail of abuse.

please people, show me what you got in that head of yours.

i believe this only constitutes as pain for people who educate themselves and are aware of the misfortunes all around us. (out of the cave so to speak)
meaning for most of us.... its not pain since we don't care or know.
