As a believer, this is what I am thinking.....

It's got something to do with energy. Spirits draw energy from their surroundings, so the room goes cold, and batteries go flat. They can manifest in various stages, such as an orb (of heat), a mist, or a partial or full-body apparition. They are visible to some people (possibly as light). They can interfere with audio and video. They can be interactive, intelligent, and sometimes known to somebody.

We know so much already, so is it just a matter of time before we make irrefutable contact via technology with the spirit world?

too easy to fake these things. Everyone is stuck with there own experiences. Which actually makes more sense.

It is believed that the Earth has ended a cycle. It is said that we will become more consciously aware, soon. We may be able to talk to spirits.

This was the Harmonic Convergence. It happened nearly 26 years ago. Nothing has changed since it.

Actually, it happened on December 21st, 2012. You can look it up. There are other things that have happened since the Harmonic Convergence.

The world is far too materialistic for this to happen, at least on a global scale. We've never been more further away than now.
