Still Waters Posted March 23, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 23, 2014 Today, the bane of cryptozoologists and monster hunters the world over is the frustrating inability to produce a body as evidence for the existence of unknown or out-of-place creatures. Creatures such as alien big cats, sea serpents, and of course, the poster monsters of the cryptozoological world, hairy hominids such as North America's Bigfoot and Australia's Yowie. But perhaps there have been missed opportunities over the years... http://weirdaustrali...gh-our-fingers/
Rafterman Posted March 24, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 24, 2014 So now they've got to dredge up 70+ year old stories?
+DieChecker Posted March 24, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 24, 2014 What I always say is that if there was a body, it would not be cryptozoological anymore. I don't know with those alien big cats. I've heard many stories from very believable people that they have seen them. Like seeing a bear in Iowa, it happens, but you aren't going to see any bodys because there are only like 5 to 10 of them. Bear in Iowa.... http://thegazette.com/2012/05/18/police-escort-black-bear-out-of-west-union/ Apparently even though there is only a couple bears, they are seen, photographed, and captured. But bigfoot has never been captured.... yet... Coincidence? Or because BF isn't there?
coldethyl Posted March 24, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 24, 2014 I think a werewolf would weigh more than 70lbs personally.
evancj Posted March 25, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 25, 2014 (edited) I'm for killing them all. The problem is, it is impossible to kill imaginary critters. They have a way of always being one step ahead of us. Edited March 25, 2014 by evancj

Zero2Hero Posted March 25, 2014 #7 Share Posted March 25, 2014 Can't be bothered looking up the specifics, but I'm pretty sure there is an account of someone catching a "sea serpent" at sea, but the ship being lost in a storm or something. There is also the Naden harbour carcass, the whereabout being unknown. It's almost certain that at some point in time, someone, somewhere has discovered something uncatalogued by science and thought nothing of it and or discarded it. +OverSword Posted March 25, 2014 #9 Share Posted March 25, 2014 The Henderson's had a chance, but they were too soft. To be fair he ran him over twice. Those bigfoots are just hard to kill.
